More than 300 women from all over Lower Silesia participated in the conference \u201cMALVA \u2013 YOU CAN DO MORE!\u201d, which was held in Boles\u0142awiec. The meeting was organized by the \u201cActive Women\u201d association, the Wa\u0142brzych Special Economic Zone \u201cINVEST-PARK\u201d, the Marshal Office of Dolno\u015bl\u0105skie Province, the city of Boles\u0142awiec, and the Lower Silesian Center for Professional Development. The patronage over the conference was taken by the Ministry of Economy.<\/p>\n

The conference organizers convinced the participants that it does not take huge money, offices and equipment to change passion into a business. What matters is talent and the willingness to face new challenges. This was what company owners and managers talked about during the discussion panel \u201cSuccessful women. Inspiration, knowledge, strength\u201d, which was chaired by President of the Wa\u0142brzych Special Economic Zone Barbara Ka\u015bnikowska.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt all begins with a dream, followed by determination and unwavering work toward the goal,\u201d Agnieszka Chmura, owner of Struga Palace, convincingly said.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou must find courage in you and take the first step, and the rest will follow naturally,\u201d added Anita Stasiak-Be\u0142z, manager of Bama Europa.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat is important is to sell your product \u2013 this is the precondition for any successful business,\u201d said Dorota Mroczkowska, owner of the company Doti.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think that it is one of the tasks of special economic zones to support regional development and be involved in various social actions. There are many women in the companies functioning in the zone, and they can set an example for others to follow,\u201d WSEZ President Barbara Ka\u015bnikowska said.<\/p>\n
Deputy Minister of Economy Ilona Antoniszyn-Klik awarded the Honorary Badge of Merit for the Economic Development of the Republic of Poland to women who have achieved success in business: Helena Smole\u0144ska, President of the \u201cArtistic Ceramics\u201d Artisan Cooperative in Boles\u0142awiec, and Antonina Kopa\u0142a-Wdowiak, owner of the \u201cOle\u0144ka\u201d restaurant.<\/p>\n
The conference was accompanied by workshops titled \u201cFrom my crotchet to fashion design\u201d. The participants could compare their skills and ideas, exchange experiences and find motivation.<\/p>\n
