Every sixth Japanese manufacturing company in Poland operates on the territory of Wa\u0142brzych Special Economic Zone. A Polish-Japanese Economic Forum organized in Tokyo has just come to an end.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting took place on the 27th of February and was one of the events accompanying Polish President’s Bronis\u0142aw Komorowski’s visit to Japan. Over 200 Japanese and 50 Polish companies took part in the Forum. Among them was the President of Wa\u0142brzych’s zone.<\/p>\n

– Inviting Japanese investors is a long-term process, it can take even a couple of years – explains Barbara Ka\u015bnikowska – In business, the Japanese value personal contacts, they want to meet the partner and gain some trust. That is why such events like expos or missions are so important, as they give the possibility of direct meetings and conversations. People in Japan give lots of attention to punctuality and truthfulness. If we give them our promise, we must fulfil it – this is one of the base rules of business cooperation with Japanese companies – explains the head of Wa\u0142brzych’s zone.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In Poland there are around 300 Japanese companies, with about 70 manufacturing ones. On the territory of Wa\u0142brzych’s zone there are 12 of them. They invested nearly 4,9 Billion z\u0142otys. Over 4000 people found their jobs there.<\/p>\n

We started a special series of national meetings for our investors. With Japanese investors we met twice already. This way we identify problems that Japanese companies face while their daily work. And we also look for solutions together. It seems that our biggest assets are the people. Japanese partners praise the commitment and loyalty of Polish workers – says Barbara Ka\u015bnikowska.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Investor admit that they are attracted to Wa\u0142brzych’s zone not only because of the tax exemptions and perfectly prepared investment lands but also by a high quality of service. The distinction by fDi Magazine is surely a confirmation. In 2014 Wa\u0142brzych Special Economic Zone was – as the only one in Poland – awarded for the care that it provides to the investors.
